First meeting of Asian American Society of CPAs
The first organizational meeting of the Asian American Society of
Certified Public Accountants (AASCPA) was held on August 24, 2004 at
the New York City office of Ernst & Young, one of the four largest
accounting firms in the world. The formation of this organization was
spearheaded by Ernst & Young, the Presidents of the National Council
of Philippine American Accountants (NCPACA), and Chinese American
Society of CPAs. Partners of the big four and other CPA firms will
also be invited to join this organization.
