22 year old Anjia Isabel Jalac, daughter of Florido and Nannette
Jalac, holds the title Miss Asia World East Coast 2005 and Queen
of Charity 2005 from her first pageant experience, Mutya ng
Pilipinas East Coast. Aside from her degree in Fashion Design
from the Fashion Institute of Technology, she has also attended
the International Modeling and Talent Association Convention
where she received the Junior Actress of the Year 2001 Award.
Anjia loves dancing, modeling and acting and is pursuing a
career in entertainment through One Model Essence Unlimited
Talent Agency. Although her number one passion is Haute Couture
and aspires to someday have her own boutique, Anjia is also very
fond of children and has spent 4 years teaching Catechism.
She is thankful
for all the countless blessings she has received from God and
strives to find little ways to give back to her community
through her work. Her family and friends have always played a
big part and her life and she thanks them ! for the love,
support, wisdom, and guidance they have given. Being a candidate
for the Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant was an unexpected turn in her
life and she welcomes the experience with gratitude and
excitement.
