Katherine Bernal is 19 years old and is the eldest daughter of
Mr. Lorenzo R. Bernal and Mrs. Susan E. Bernal. She was
valedictorian of her class at St. Agatha's School in Brooklyn,
NY and continued to be an honor roll student at Brooklyn
Technical High School. Katherine is currently in the CUNY Honors
College and is receiving a full scholarship at Brooklyn College.
She is majoring in biology and her high grades have always put
her on the Dean's List. Katherine is currently taking Pre-Med
and dreams of becoming a doctor someday.
Besides her academic
achievement, Katherine enjoys giving back to her community. She
is an active participant in her church where she is a lector and
the lead pianist for the Youth Choir. Katherine enjoys playing
on her school's tennis team, playing the piano, singing,
ballroom dancing, and performing with the Folklorico Filipino
Dance Company of New York. Katherine tries to be a role ! model
to others especially to her siblings. She is very thankful to
God, her family, and her friends for their unconditional love
and support.
