Riana Criseta Jumamil Balahadia Riana Criseta Jumamil Balahadia was born on January 20, 1992 to the parents of Richard Balahadia and Bonecelyn Jumamil. She stayed in Matawan, NJ until her parents divorced when she turned 3. She then went on to live in the Jersey City Heights with her mother, where they still reside today. Riana currently attends High Tech High School as a freshman and is part of the highly acclaimed HT Musical Theatre Department and New Jersey Science League. She started singing since she was 4 years old, and started playing the piano since she was 7. Since then, her love for theatre began to grow when she performed in many plays, in school and professionally outside. Other hobbies include acting, dancing, writing, and poetry. Riana’s favorite singer/actress and role model is Lea Salonga. One day, she hopes to be as successful and talented as her. This is Riana’s first competition. |
