Vanessa Angela Villena was born on April 20, 1989. Her parents are Eddie and Amy Villena from Batangas City.

She has a younger sibling named Angelica. She is currently a senior at South Brunswick High School and a very active member of her school's concert choir. She started singing since she was three years old. Singing is Vanessa 's passion.

Last year she joined Diwa Ng Kalayaan and was honored with the title of Hiyas Ng Pilipinas.
